The North Carolina quarter depicts the historic Wright Brothers first heavier-than-air, self-propelled flying machine. On it's first flight, the craft, called the Flyer, traveled a distance of approximately 37 meters (120 feet) at Kill Devil Hills in Kitty Hawk, NC. It was considered one of the most significant human achievements in history. I finish this cut-out with a Sterling Siver Pendant Bail which will fit on Necklaces 3mm and smaller in thickness.
