The obverse design of the 2000 Golden $ depicts the young Shoshone woman, Sacagawea. On her back, Sacagawea carries her infant son, Jean Baptiste, whom she carried and cared for on her entire 3,000-mile expedition with Lewis and Clark.  I finish them with Sterling silver french ear wires giving them a two-tone look
