The North Carolina quarter depicts the historic Wright Brothers first heavier-than-air, self-propelled flying machine. On it's first flight, the craft, called the Flyer, traveled a distance of approximately 37 meters (120 feet) at Kill Devil Hills in Kitty Hawk, NC. It was considered one of the most significant human achievements in history. This is the Cut-Out only and includes a black velveteen bag for safekeeping...most common for Golf Markers.
