The North Carolina quarter depicts the historic Wright Brothers first heavier-than-air, self-propelled flying machine. On it's first flight, the craft, called the Flyer, traveled a distance of approximately 37 meters (120 feet) at Kill Devil Hills in Kitty Hawk, NC. It was considered one of the most significant human achievements in history. I complete the cut out with a very thick and sturdy Sterling Bail and finish it with a Base Metal Snake Key Chain & Ring.
